FORXAI Mirror is an access control solution designed to ensure workers use the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). These release notes pertain to version 2.0.0.

Compatibility

The FORXAI Mirror was tested on Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 LTS.

The FORXAI Mirror 2.0.0 is supported by the 2.4.0 version of the FORXAI platform.

New functionalities

Additional PPE support

We've expanded the Mirror’s capabilities to detect a broader range of personal protective equipment (PPE).

FORXAI Mirror now accurately identifies and detects the following protective equipment:

• Nose exposure
  Detects if the nose is exposed when a face mask is worn.

• Chin exposure
  Detects if the chin is exposed when a face mask is worn.

Error manager

We’ve introduced an Error Manager to improve how the system handles errors. This feature allows for better detection, reporting, and resolution of errors, helping to ensure smoother operation and quicker troubleshooting.

ADAM-6060 support

The FORXAI Mirror can now be used in combination with the Advantech ADAM-6000 series of digital I/O modules. These devices can be connected to the FORXAI Mirror and configured to open gates, turnstiles, trigger signaling systems, or control other hardware devices whenever a user successfully passes a PPE check.
