v2.5.0
FORXAI Mirror is an access control solution designed to ensure workers use the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). These release notes pertain to version 2.5.0.
Compatibility
The FORXAI Mirror was tested on Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 LTS.
The FORXAI Mirror 2.5.0 is supported by the 2.9.0 version of the FORXAI platform.
Known issues
After a fresh installation or a power cycle, users must swipe an RFID card for the first PPE check, even if the RFID authentication is disabled.
Improvements and updates
Access control
The new Access control update gives you more flexibility over how users check their PPE with the Mirror. Previously, RFID cards were required for all interactions. Now, administrators can configure authentication settings to fit their needs:
Optional RFID authentication – Users can perform PPE checks without an RFID card, requiring only the trigger pose to proceed.
Allow all or only listed RFID cards – If RFID authentication is enabled, administrators can choose whether all cards are accepted or only those listed in an uploaded user list.

New PPE detections
FORXAI Mirror now supports additional safety gear violation detections:
Hand Jewelry Detection
Detects if the user is wearing jewelry on hands or wrists, such as bracelets, watches, or rings.
Worksuit Detection
Detects if the user is wearing a worksuit.
Medical uniform detection
Detects if the user is wearing a medical V-neck T-shirt and trousers, or ‘scrubs’.
Oversleeve detection
Detects if the user is wearing oversleeves on each arm.
